Dahrén Group is a manufacturing company with operations in Sweden, Germany and Poland. Their old IBM i system had processes that were too dependent on individuals, required a lot of manual work and not adapted to the increasing demands of customers.
Apper analysed the needs, modularised the architecture and built a new production planning system with a web-based interface and clear visualisation. With the global functionality of Apper’s solution in place, further modernisation could then take place in stages. The new, more efficient production planning reduces costs through improved inventory management. At the same time, the bit-by-bit process means that Dahrén Group now has full control over its modernisation and can continue at its own pace with processes for customer management, order management and invoicing.
The Swedish Kennel Club gained new business
The Swedish Kennel Club had an older IBM i system that made valuable data difficult to access. It required a lot of manual work and retreiving important information took a long time, while at the same time it posed a risk of misinterpretations and security breaches. By implementing LUX Core as a new framework for the architecture, Apper was able to start a modernisation process.

With new architecture from LUX Core and a customer-specific LUX App with links to APIs at the back-end, the Swedish Kennel Club was able to create new cloud-based services and new revenue streams by releasing data. Real-time data became available faster and easier and could easily be exported to Excel and other formats.
